Also I finally realized why Trump opposes alternative energy. He uses his friendship with big oil as a ruse because his real friendship is with the second largest oil producer, Putin and Russia. Putin must have the goods on Trump.
Trump put more restrictions on Russia than any other president. He tried to get all of Europe off of Russian oil because they would hold that over them. But they refused and are now paying the price. There's no way he would want that if he was friends with them. Trump doesnt oppose alternative energy, he opposes forcing it on Americans and the enormous high price Americans would be paying for it. He wants to finance research and try and develop it where it is affordable.
I really don't think Trump is capable of anything as intricate as an actual policy or plan, unless it involves direct personal benefit to himself, in which cases his thinking can be quite subtle. As was emphasized during the recent debate, he's been claiming to have a health care plan for the last 7 years or so, an so far has only managed to progress to a "concept of a plan." And remember all those infrastructure weeks? Trump's idea of a "plan" is simply to declare that something's going to happen -- usually, something profoundly unlikely, like COVID just vanishing overnight -- without any concrete proposals to bring it about.
Mr Wise, I think you are totally wrong. He has policies and plans to implement them. He ran out of time in his last administration with covid taking over the last year. His policies got us a much better trade deal with China instead of sucking up to them. He also had peace in the world with this policies. He had an energy policy plan that had driven down gas prices.
So for you to say something like that is irresponsible. Look at the Kamala, the only policy she has is to lie. She cant even list anything as a policy. Says she would close the border. She has had 3 years and has done nothing but open it up more. Plus gas is unaffordable now. almost 4.00 / gallon. And above all, the world is on fire. Her and Biden have destroyed the peace in the world because of their weakness. those countries know they are a joke and if she gets in there, it is going to get worse. And the liberals love their war.
As far as covid vanishing overnight, that was that little nazi Fauci and the others advising Trump. He didnt want to shut down the country but took their advice. they told him it would drop drastically. They scared him telling him if he didnt shut it down it would kill up to 4 million people in a couple of months. So he did what he thought was the right thing and heeded their advice. Guarantee he wont do that again. Fauci should be prosecuted for doing gain of function funding for the chinese lab that released covid accidentally.
So you all can bad mouth Trump all you want, but this country (and the world for that matter) was so much better off under him. You could afford to live then. And WW3 wasnt looming over the horizon.
Last year, over objections from Iran and Russia, the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the United Nations shipping agency, issued a resolution expressing grave concern over the prevalence of “dark” tankers, adding that there as many as 600 tankers servicing this shadow trade — vessels that had unclear ownership, were not compliant with safety standards and lacked adequate insurance.
Tankers are required to broadcast their location on their Automatic Identification System (AIS) so they can be detected by other vessels. But “dark” tankers were masking or falsifying their locations on AIS — a process called “spoofing” — to travel illicitly, said the IMO. The safety risks, the agency warned, were “real and high.”
This ep reminds me of a 2012 article by David Vine, with mention of Chalmers Johnson, regarding lily pad bases (not just a US thing) :
https://tomdispatch.com/david-vine-u-s-empire-of-bases-grows/ which basically states that for a number of years large bases have been reduced in size or closed with many smaller ones built in a network across the globe. This reminds me of the US leaving their KZ base in Manas International Airport in 2014. Who knows how many lily pad bases there are in that region, US, Russian, or otherwise?
Re Vincent Lyne... No evidence has ever been published stating that Zaharie had investigated Broken Ridge, right? You'd think that the man's search history and hard drive would have been exhaustively investigated by now. Somebody would have stated if he had viewed this paper: http://www-odp.tamu.edu/publications/183_IR/VOLUME/CHAPTERS/IR183_01.PDF from 2000. Aside from that, Lyne's estimated location in Eastern Broken Ridge would have resulted in debris washing ashore in Australia. I guess that anyone discussing MH370 every few months is a good thing.
Plus if he is naval intelligence he should have some understanding of drift and barnacles. And he should be able to shed light on the parts recovered. NCSI could solve it.
Hi Jeff, It’s obvious that your guest had limits on what he could share. I’d be curious to know if it was a water landing should it have been detected with ocean mics or satellites? Where would he look for MH370? If the plane did land in Kazakhstan which field was most probable? Was anyone in the intelligence community looking for the plane? Did anyone game out a hijacking? Did the intelligence community look for electronic chatter indicating where it went? Which of theories are possible and which are clearly false? Your guest was very responsive but not as open as would have been helpful. So at the end I have more questions than when he began. I don’t want to go all All X files on you. Keep searching. The truth is out there. Trip
Thanks Trip! People in the intelligence community aren't famous for their openness, I was happy that he would come on the show at all! Reading between the lines, I think it was clear that he hadn't heard anything about MH370, but that doesn't surprise me; it's naturally a characteristic of intelligence that things are on a need-to-know basis. And don't forget, since this is an ongoing investigation, it's not that they're disinclined to share intel on the case, they're not supposed to. That said -- I will definitely continue to chase down all the leads I can!

Trump was great at killing the bipartisan border plan.

Wow.
Falsifying locations on AIS

Russia is manifesting this kind of behavior in so many ways...

Really great points, thanks, Keelie.
